The ms82040 is a quad 56GBaud linear transimpedance/adjustable gain amplifier suitable for 4*100Gb/s PAM4 optical module applications. This chip supports either MGC (Manual Gain Control) or AGC (Automatic Gain Control) modes. It provides a broad range of optical power and extremely low input reference noise current density. It features a very low input noise current density of 11pA/√Hz at 3.7KΩ impedance (typical) and amplified power up to 2.1mApp at 56G baud rate, enabling fast response for signal transmission, low latency, and high gain.
同時(shí),ms82040內(nèi)部集成了I2C 接口,可實(shí)現(xiàn)實(shí)時(shí)控制和狀態(tài)讀取。此外,芯片提供RSSI功能,用于監(jiān)控和報(bào)告低至暗電流的平均光輸入功率水平。在過載條件下,VPD 提供可高于VCC的偏置電壓,從而實(shí)現(xiàn)最佳光電二極管性能。
At the same time, I2C for real-time control and status reading has been integrated in ms82040. In addition, the chip provides RSSI function for monitoring and reporting average optical input power levels down to dark current. Under overload conditions, VPD provides a bias voltage that can be higher than VCC for optimal photodiode performance.
